The “nine box matrix” is an investigative tool which helps establish the investigation criteria and scope of work. Once the problem is defined, comprehensive accident and wreckage reconstruction techniques are utilized to determine the sequence of events during an accident occurrence. Subsequent analysis of system component failures are then performed in accordance with industry accepted practices.
